Facilitator Profile

Louisa started Mettamorphic Landscape Architecture in 2014, but knowing the ups and downs of design work, she was always looking to diversify the business.

Louisa met Kerrie, Director of Fun Day Out at a networking event in 2015, where the two discussed a need for an environmentally themed incursion to expand activity offerings on Fun Day Out.  Louisa thought it was something she would really love to try and they developed the pilot program and the rest, as they say is history – here they are, 5 years and many thousands of plants later with several different themes on offer and a growing team of green guardians who just love to spread their knowledge of sustainability, their connection to nature and the important role they play as caretakers of the planet.

Louisa is a qualified Horticulturist, a member of AIH (Australian Institute of Horticulture) and a registered landscape architect with AILA (Aust Institute of Landscape Architects.  Louisa has 10 years experience teaching children (swimming and horse riding).  All staff presenting workshops have WWCC, and experience / qualifications in horticulture / teaching or both.  All are passionate and patient and genuinely love connecting with the younger generation and making a difference.
