Construct your bamboo raft and prepare it to sail down a wild water course of flowing rapids!
Can you build a Raft sturdy enough to make it all the way to the end of the course in one piece? Only one way to find out!
In this incursion kids will experiment with and explore the concepts and forces of buoyancy, wind power and gravity by creating a raft from natural materials including bamboo, sticks and leaves.
Working in teams to build a water course children will use sections of recycled piping to create a flowing rapid trail.
