Qigong

Dragon Tao Kung Fu

Sydney & Surrounds

Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine.

It involves exercises that enhance and channel energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the aim of cultivating and sustaining health and well-being.

As both meditation and movement, it offers a unique way for children to engage their minds and bodies. As an exercise, it helps them work on their coordination as much as their emotional balance.

Through Qigong, children learn how to be mindful and purposeful, skills that will benefit them in all different areas of life.

Highlights

  • Children will learn the basics of this mindful movement and learn about its benefits
  • Build strength and flexibility while practicing patience and perseverance
  • Build mindfulness and enhance concentration and focus
