At Fun Day Out, the safety and wellbeing of children is a priority in everything we do. We are committed to supporting safe, positive and engaging experiences for children participating in activities arranged through our services.
We recognise that every child has the right to feel safe, respected and supported. Our organisation works to promote environments where children can participate in activities in a way that protects their wellbeing and encourages positive experiences.
As a booking and coordination service connecting children’s services with activity providers, Fun Day Out expects all providers delivering activities through our platform to operate in accordance with appropriate child safety standards and relevant legislation.
Fun Day Out supports and aligns with the Child Safe Standards and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, which guide our approach to promoting safe environments for children.
Working Together to Support Safe Environments
Fun Day Out works closely with OSHC services, vacation care programs, schools, and community organisations that are responsible for the supervision and care of children during activities.
We greatly value the role these services play in maintaining safe and supportive environments for children to learn, explore and grow.
We also recognise that the educators and staff within these centres play an important role in supporting activity providers so they can deliver engaging and enjoyable experiences for children in a safe environment.
By working collaboratively with services and providers, Fun Day Out aims to support positive experiences for children while maintaining strong safety practices.
