In this hands-on school holiday workshop, children become little eco builders as they explore five incredible habitats across Australia through an Indigenous lens.
Guided by Indigenous knowledge and storytelling, kids learn about native animals, the places they live, and the deep connection between land, animals, and people.
Using native animal figurines and real natural materials, children work together in small groups to build their own habitats, using imagination and teamwork to recreate living ecosystems.
This playful, collaborative experience celebrates caring for Country and is a meaningful, engaging activity for NAIDOC Week and beyond.
