Come along, get creative, make some colourful memories and celebrate the joy of art, culture and community.
A fun and interactive Fun Day Out outdoor workshop led by an Indigenous artist, where children will explore the beauty, meaning and storytelling traditions of Indigenous art.
Through conversation, creativity and hands-on activities, kids will discover how symbols, patterns, colours and storytelling can be used to share connections to Country, culture, community and the world around us.
Using chalks, kids will create their own artwork on the footpath, inspired by what they have learned. They’ll have the chance to express their creativity, share their stories and create something for everyone to enjoy.
Once the artwork has been enjoyed and admired, we’ll wash the chalk away together — turning the artwork into a fun, splashy summer activity!
