Nature Detectives invites children to become hands-on explorers as they investigate the plants, animals, and ecosystems hiding in plain sight — whether it’s in their own schoolyard, on an immersive full-day adventure, or out in the wild on a nature excursion.
Using real science tools, students will catch and observe minibeasts, study native plants, and collect data just like ecologists do. Depending on the format and setting, the experience might include a bushwalk, beachcombing, habitat building, nature-based art, or fun sensory games like the “Meet a Tree” challenge. Along the way, kids build environmental awareness and leave with a toolkit of fascinating facts and discoveries to share.
