Bring the excitement of a traditional Japanese school sports festival to your centre.
Inspired by Undokai, this session focuses on teamwork, encouragement, and participation, creating a fun and inclusive environment where it’s less about winning and more about having a go and celebrating together.
Children take part in a variety of high-energy group challenges, starting with warm-up stretches and energisers similar to rajio taisō, before moving through activities like Karimono Kyōsō (borrowing race), Tsunahiki (tug of war), Ōdama Korogashi (giant ball roll), and Tamaire (ball toss). Throughout the session, there’s plenty of cheering, laughter, and a unique cultural twist, along with a few surprise elements to keep the excitement going.
