Indoor Fishing Simulators let kids battle giant virtual fish using a real rod and reel. They can choose from five exciting fish species and feel every twist and turn of the fight through the rod. Meanwhile, a thrilling TV simulation shows the fish swimming as they reel it in. And the best part? No one gets wet!
Station 2: Make Your Own Bait + Fishing History
While some kids master the simulators, others will learn to make bait using everyday bread dough. Children will also learn about the traditional fishing practices of Indigenous people and the deep cultural knowledge passed down for generations. The Dreamtime story of Thukeri will be shared, teaching an important lesson about overfishing, greed, and the importance of respecting and caring for our natural environment.
