Discover the amazing world of insects with us at Lizard Log this spring.

A chance for children to get their hands dirty, see nature up close, and make something that gives back to the park. They’ll leave this program with a deeper understanding of the important role insects play in our ecosystem.

• Wander through Lizard Log with our education rangers, spotting nests, burrows, and the hidden homes of local wildlife
• Bug and habitat hunt: Slow down and look closely—find the insects that come out in springtime
• Build your own insect hotel: Design and create a special hideaway for our smallest park residents, helping bugs stay safe and the ecosystem stay healthy
