This sculpting class will allow mini-artists to experiment with a range of sculpture materials with a focus on ceramic clay to create pottery and ceramic sculptures.

• Children will learn sculpting, clay processes, firing, and glazing
• Instruction on the use and care of clay tools will be provided
• Designing and creating 3D artwork, including planning for structural integrity, will be taught
• Hand-building pottery techniques will be covered (note: we do not use a wheel in the studio)

This program focuses on mini-artists learning and experimenting with creative therapeutic tools to help relax their minds and find calm.
