Bush Food Lunch time in Centennial Park!
Take a guided bush tucker tour with Shared Knowledge around the wetlands of Centennial Park and learn to identify seasonal native bush foods and medicines and discover their cultural uses.
During this one hour tour you will learn about the importance of traditional bush foods to Aboriginal people here on Gadigal and Bidjigal Country in the park.
Learn about the traditional seasons and how they influence what is hunted and gathered.
You can visit the Ian Potter Children’s WILD PLAY Garden before or after the program for even more free play.
