Hort4Kidz NAIDOC

Brought to you by the awesome team at Hort4Kidz, this NAIDOC Bush Tucker Workshop is a fun, creative way for students to learn about native trees and plants, their uses, as well as discovering their meaning and importance to our indigenous community.

Delivered by a qualified Horticulturist, an expect in all things outdoors, students will be enthralled by a show and tell presentation on bush tucker, and then decorate their own biodegradable pot  and choose bush tucker seedlings to pot up and take home.

  • Learning information and theory behind their plants and what they need to survive and, then have the opportunity to apply practical learning through potting up a plant and taking it home to take care of it.

  • Creative ownership over their boxes and pots and freedom to decorate and personalise, or express visually some of the information they have learnt.
