Up-cylce and recycle!

Challenge your kids to think about ways that they can create useful, functional, and fun structures and objects in ways which leave no trace on our natural environment.

This workshop combines a mixture of up-cycling methods and bushcraft skills to give kids the power to create new projects using existing materials collected from our natural environment, as well as repurposed found or discarded objects.

Highlights

• Using natural materials, children learn about the useful properties of a variety of plants, trees, and minerals
• Children gain an insight into the practices of our throwaway culture and consider ways in which they might change this by using what already exists rather than producing more
• Children will build a shelter using a mixture of natural and recycled materials
