It’s getting cold… time to make a fire! But do you know how?
This winter, Centennial Park’s Campfire Club is all about the art of fire. We’ll set off on a nature walk to forage and learn the essentials of fire building. You’ll meet the flying foxes, Centennial Park’s resident bushfire survivors, and join in a game of survival.
Back at camp, children will get hands-on practice creating sparks with flint and steel, then gather around a crackling campfire to tell stories and cook apple slices.
Where: The WILD PLAY Discovery Centre – Centennial Park
Dates: 6 – 17 July 2026 (excluding Wednesdays)
Session Times: flexible between 9am and 3pm
