How do turtles survive between land and water — and what can we learn by looking closer?
In this hands-on outdoor adventure, children explore Parramatta Park’s waterways through observation, storytelling and nature play.
They’ll search for turtles and water dragons, learn how these animals live and adapt, and take part in an interactive story and movement game about turtles preparing for brumation. Back at base, children work together to build a turtle nest from loose parts and create a clay turtle to take home.
