Fun Day Out Activities

Mime Time

Dennis Clare

Sydney & Surrounds

Dennis Clare will take children on a journey into the depths of their imagination as he distorts reality through the use of props and mime.

This wonderfully wacky production is a visual feast that will capture children’s attention through music, humour and creativity and engage them in wonder.

This program by Dennis Clare was inspired by the Surrealists after he was commissioned by the Art Gallery of NSW to create a performance art piece. Now he is bringing his talents and sharing his skills with children around the country.

This expressive show will redefine children’s idea of weird, in the best way.. So weird in fact they will not know how do describe it to their parents when asked!

Highlights

  • Learn about non verbal forms of comminication
  • Engage their senses with a focus on sight and observational skills
  • Develop conceptual thinking and how to express their imagination
